Hi! I'm new here and all...I'm not exactly sure what's acceptable in this community (as it seems to differ from fandom to fandom) or not so I hope you'll bare with me when it comes to failing and such. (Whether that failing be in the complete failure of keeping with canon (as I tend to go by memory...) or with just failing on how to use LJ since I'm also new to this as well...). I was looking for an excuse to use this icon
In response to a comment someone made that was like "All IchiHime people ever talk about is how good at sex Ichigo and Orihime would be" (wow, genius - welcome to every fandom ever! Next thing you know, they'll even be *gasp* writing made up stories about them actually doing sex! The nerve!) and also because I have needed to make this an icon ever since that doujin got translated. Because I literally spit at my monitor when I saw that panel.
The keywords are extra lulz.
BUT ANYWAY, I have things I need to accomplish this week (and beyond).
- Clean doujin pages for Prince of Flowers (I've got the cover and the first page fixed, but the first page had a grid in the background and it literally took forever to fix up)
- Post for my characters (I always say I'm going to do this and I never do ;~;)
- Shopping Friday (including cleaning my car out. Ugh, it's so filthy)
- Doll Meet Saturday (hence the car-cleaning)
- Work on Chapter 7 of fanfic (if I get to chapter 8, it will officially be the longest I have ever written on one fic ever)
- Sand out Ichi!doll and little boy doll's seams
- Face up and body blushing on boy dolls
- Sew doll outfits
- Avoid being murdered by Dagger for taking on too many tasks in a row
But really, I'm just chomping at the bit to get to the fanfic part. I was in a groove with that last chapter and I'm reluctant to let that go. D: Maybe I can start up again Saturday night?

I swear I would die without my friend Coby. I don't know what luck was on my side the day I met her, but she's become one of my best friends. I adore her to death, and she's seriously so selfless and fantastic and alkdsjfkldsjf. Already, her family has extended more kindness to me than some of my own family. I don't think I could get through the day without her to talk to. ♥ I never thought we'd become best friends like this, but I'm so, so grateful. :) She's managed to fill a void in my heart that I didn't think would ever be occupied again.
Through all the bad that has happened, the new friends I've made in 2009 are ones I'll have for life. I'm so fucking lucky - I don't deserve awesome friends like them. But I'll try to keep my spirits up, try to be a good person despite my faults. :)
I was really, really depressed Sunday night. Coby went out of her way to cheer me up, to the extent where she literally called her father and asked him to fly me out to Texas to stay with them for a while. Another friend, Ael, told me "Theos, you're a light in this world, and it would be a lesser place if it lost that light." Sarah took me out on Monday, and bought me coffee - and we've plotted out our futures. We're both going back to school in January, and after that... we're going to move to Toronto together. Just be a couple of indie scene kids, working in some free trade, all organic coffee shop. Cheryl confirmed I can have my old job back, actually, so...
Well, Toronto, take 2, you may be in my future. :)
Despite being dirt poor, possibly being unable to pay rent (my roommates said we'll work something out), and all that fun stuff, I'm happy. Money... in the end, it's really nothing. There are so many other things that are important. Friendship, for one.
I need to remember that. I'm slowly growing up, I think, even though I feel like I'm going in circles. :)

My Gay Agenda (TM)
The religious right always talks about the Gay Agenda (TM). I always hear this and think "You know, I want one of those." Though with the way my life has been recently, it would be disgustingly mundane.
My Gay Agenda(TM)
- Try not to kill the visual people at corporate because there's supposedly a visual update coming through tonight and they want it done before opening tomorrow. Nevermind the store closes in 3 hours, and they've yet to send it to us.
- Get out of retail. This will be easier when I get a job in my field. I'm working on that. :\
- Get Married. Screw you state governments.
- Eat dinner. I'm so hungry.
- Get the LJ RP game going with the Girl that we've been sort of kind of talking about. ZOMG ROBOTS!
- Finish chapter 2 of Not Quite Paradise
- Help The Girl Move at the End of the Month.
Yeah, that's My Gay Agenda (TM). Doesn't it sound exciting? I'm sure I can figure out more later. XD
